Quickline Consultancy starts with a visit to undertake the site survey, establish the brief and to discuss potential solutions. These are vital steps in the process towards achieving the ultimate success for a project.

We are often consulted by companies that already have their storage plans drawn up but want the reassurance of an independent review. We use our extensive industry-specific knowledge to find the perfect solution and our expertise routinely results in the demonstration of real added value by maximising a design to increase capacity.

If you already have a project design or quotation then before you sign the order ask Quickline for some advice and to evaluate it in terms of fitness for purpose in key areas. We use a simple check list:

Tender Writing

Utilising our years of experience, we can work with you to achieve the most cost-effective project possible. We do this by becoming a client’s agent, working open book for a percentage fee of the project. Please find below an example of the work we can carry out on your behalf.

Pre-Tender

  • Stock analysis and volumetric study;
  • Building survey and throughput investigation;
  • Space planning including CAD design;
  • Draft up invitation to tender;
  • Select suitable contractors for tender, including credit and background checks.

Post-Tender

  • Post-tender review;
  • Decide shortlisted contractors include presentation to client for features and benefits;
  • Arrange contractor interviews;
  • Negotiate contract sums and overall terms;
  • Undertake construction drawings.

Site Co-ordination

  • Put together project plan including timescales milestones / stage payments etc;
  • Collate method statements and risk assessments;
  • Undertake site safety checks;
  • Carry out installation tolerance measurement;
  • Invoice sign-off / cost management;
  • Formal handover to client, including O&M manual.

Our team can help you achieve this efficiently, and to exacting standards.

Racking Survey

Racking surveys are an important part of maintaining a safe working environment for your staff. Post installation we can provide you with an ongoing rack inspection programme.

With our SARI-qualified personnel, our rack inspections highlight damage as well as pointing out any potential hazards within your racking and or shelving installation.

Our reports will provide you with:

  • A detailed report on the condition of your racking and shelving in accordance with the SEMA codes and guidelines;
  • Highlight locations that require attention;
  • Recommendations where needed, as well as a breakdown of materials required for repair works;
  • Layout drawings showing locations.
